Students with a quality point average in the range of 3.300 to 3.599 for a semester's work were recently placed on the Deans' Commendation List. The following students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester at Baldwin Wallace University according to BW Provost Stephen D. Stahl. Any full-time student who achieves a GPA of at least 3.6 for 12 or more graded hours or part-time student who achieves a GPA of at least 3.6 for six or more graded hours in the fall or spring semester will be placed on the Dean's List.

The University of Hartford is pleased to announce the following students have been named to the Dean's List for Spring 2019.

A total of 11,406 students enrolled during the 2019 spring term at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or to undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

Alpha Kappa Alpha membership is the highest award granted to Siena College graduates.

Some 3,275 students were awarded degrees during the University of Vermont's 218th commencement ceremonies. Darren Walker who presides over the Ford Foundation, one of the world's most influential social justice philanthropies and one of the largest private foundations in the United States, delivered the address.

On Sunday, May 12, Emerson College awarded more than 970 undergraduate degrees and on Saturday, May 11, awarded nearly 300 graduate degrees during the College's Commencement ceremonies. The University of Alabama's Black Faculty and Staff Association recently recognized students who received premier academic awards for 2018-19. The students were honored on Black Scholars Day. The mission of the Black Faculty and Staff Association is to contribute to the betterment of UA a by serving as an advocate for educational equity, with an emphasis on African-American students, and the professional needs of its members. To that end, this organization promotes and provides opportunities for networking among individuals and groups to articulate mutual concerns and advance educational opportunities.

Several local residents made the academic Deans' List at Azusa Pacific University. These students are honored for a fall 2018 grade-point average of 3.5 or better. They are joined by 1,976 students receiving the same honor.

Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.3 or higher while completing at least three courses for a conventional letter grade earn the fall 2018 Dean's Award for Academic Excellence.

"American La Ronde," Steven Dietz's contemporary reimagining of Arthur Schnitzler's "La Ronde," was brought to life by BW students during the fall 2018 semester. The play explores heartache and attraction in the lives of seemingly unconnected people left behind by a simple silver bracelet.

Siena College names students to the President's List for the Fall 2018 semester.

The following students have been named to Emerson College's Dean's List for the Fall 2018 semester. The requirement to make the Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher that semester.

The following students graduated from Azusa Pacific University on Sat., December 15, 2018, and joined approximately 1,480 graduates at the winter commencement ceremonies.

Approximately 1,500 students were named to Biola University's Dean's List for academic excellence in Spring 2018. Students who achieved a grade point average of 3.60 or higher while enrolled in 12 or more credit units and whose cumulative grade point average is at least a 3.20 are placed on the Dean's List. "Inclusion on the Biola Dean's List is an indication that this student is performing exceptionally well in a rigorous academic program," said Patricia Pike, vice provost for academic administration. "Our Dean's List students are bright, motivated, engaged, competent, and personable. Wesleyan welcomed 806 new students in the Class of 2022 to campus on August 29.

Lawrence University has recognized 732 students for academic achievement by naming them to the 2017-18 dean's list. Students must maintain a minimum 3.4 grade point average for the entire academic year to qualify for dean's list honors.

Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.6 or higher while completing at least three courses for a conventional letter grade during the spring 2018 semester earn the Dean's Award with Distinction.
