Miami University students who ranked in the top 20 percent of undergraduate students within each division for first semester 2014-2015 have been named to the dean's list recognizing academic performance.

The Dean's Award for academic excellence is awarded to recipients with a 3.30 or higher grade-point average while enrolled in 3.75 or more course hours.

More than 100 students took part in summer internships this summer with assistance from the Colgate Center for Career Services' Internship Fund and a variety of alumni-funded fellowships.

The approximately 167 students who received the prestigious distinction for having earned a grade point average of at least 3.5 during the 2011-2012 academic year were honored at a fall banquet.
